WINNIPEG 鈥?The father of a nine-year old Winnipeg boy who died in Ontario Rushing River Provincial Park this weekend says his son slipped on a rock and drowned.Trevor Thomas tells CTV Winnipeg he was cooking supper Saturday night when his son, Kyree Bruneau-Thomas, disappeared.Hours later, after a search by Ontario Provincial Police and park staff, Kyree was found dead. OSWEGO 鈥?The county and Sheriffs Silver Star Association have a new contract in place.The legislature approve stanley cup d the pact at Thursday nights water bottle stanley meeting.The county and the association reached a tentative agreement on March 27.Members of the association had already ratified the contract on May 20. It runs from 2018 through 2022.Negotiations between the two parties had been goin stanley cup g on since the previous contract expired on Dec. 31, 2017.Effective Jan. 1, 2018, hourly rates for 2017 shall be increased by 2% for grades 1-4 only.Effective Jan. 1, 2019, hourly rates for 2018 shall be increased by 2%; the same for Jan. 1, 2020, 2021 and 2022.
