ACDF Spinal Surgery
#1
The goal of an ACDF is to decompress the spinal cord and the nerve roots off pressure. Relief from pain would ensue as a patient's quality of life is enhanced post-operatively. The majority of patients who have this procedure tend to significantly recover in symptoms post-operatively to lead a normal life, although times of recovery do vary. Patients are advised to participate in physical therapy following surgery to speed up their healing process and gain strength and flexibility in the neck. In a nutshell, ACDF Spinal Surgery remains a common and effective treatment for those suffering from various cervical spine conditions.
